We grow our lemon myrtle on our farm in the Australian subtropics in a magical place on the edge of an ancient caldera. Chemical free, sustainably farmed in its indigenous environment, hand harvested, carefully dried for maximum aromatics and benefits.
Lemon Myrtle is rich in calcium and and free radicals, lutein, vitamin E, zinc and magnesium with a high anti-microbial content that makes it a natural remedy for sore throats.
FLAVOR: refreshing, complex citrus with lemongrass and a hint of eucalyptus.
USE: Our fine sieved lemon myrtle (< 10 mesh) is ideal for use in baking, cooking and infusing into alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. For tissane/tea, we recommend our tea cut lemon myrtle. Excellent in sauces and as a flavoring on fish and chicken. Note that it contains no acid, and you may consider combining with lemon juice/vinegars where some acid is desired.
